Fall is my favorite time for photo sessions and I am so happy to be specializing in senior portraits! Maybe it’s because I have two teenage sons of my own but I love photographing this group! Last week I met up with Alexis, a senior from Charlottesville High School. She wanted to have some of portraits taken down by the river and I was more than happy to accommodate her. The river is becoming one of my favorite places to shoot. I love, love, love the shot of her tossing water towards the camera!
Due to the heat wave we’ve been having, it was ridiculously hot but it was a still a lovely day…tons of sunshine and golden light. Despite the heat, Alexis looked amazing in her photos, how could she not with that dazzling smile and beautiful eyes! After high school, Alexis plans on studying nursing. Her mom works in that field and and I think it’s awesome that she is continuing on with that tradition!
