Last weekend I had the first of my themed sessions with my 2020 Creative Team. It was a Candy Color Pop session and we had a blast! Talk about creative senior portraits in Charlottesville VA!

Every year I set up creative theme sessions with my Creative Team. I give them a few options and each senior chooses the one they like best. I was beyond excited the Maddy and Malena (both seniors from FCHS) chose the Candy Color Pop session!
I knew that I wanted bright colors, lots of candy and super fun images!
I collaborated with Luxology (my wonderful hair & makeup team) to get the colorful look I wanted. They did such an amazing job! Right away I knew I was going to love these photos. I mean look how adorable Maddy is!! I told her she reminded me of a 70s sitcom star!
Maddy brought those fun heart glasses and I made the gummy bear bracelet!
While Maddy went to change her outfit, it was Malena’s turn! That rainbow eye makeup was was the perfect match for all the gumballs. Not to mention her space buns are absolutely adorable!!
I changed up the background and we pulled out more candy and props! I guess was feeling pretty crafty that day because I made the bubblegum bracelet too!
Malena, you are so cute I can’t hardly stand it!
Maddy’s turn again and I broke out the gummy bears and the ring pops. I bought so much candy my studio smelled like a candy shop!
Nothing more fun then when it’s raining gummy bears!
The skittles shower, while equally as cute as the gummy bears, definitely made more noise…plus they went everywhere! I’ll probably be finding them in random places for months!
I’m seriously in love with all these colors! Maddy and Malena wore me out with their cuteness!!
I’m a sucker for dark dramatic photoshoots (the next creative session is Dark Queens) but these photos made me so happy!!
This session was an absolute blast! Not only was it fun it was so different from my usual sessions!
