Shutter Magazine is a fabulous photography magazine created by Sal Cincotta. He “created Behind the Shutter to give back to the world of photography. As an up and coming photographer, Sal was struggling to find answers to basic questions. Most of the magazines out there were filled with fluff. Sal needed and wanted to create something that would challenge photographers, something that would educate them.”
Not only do I subscribe to the magazine, I also attend Shutterfest, a photography conference like no other! Their tag line is “Shutterfest is not just a conference. It’s an experience.” and man oh man are they right!
I’ve been going to Shutterfest for the past four years. Every time I attend the conference I always learn new skills, make friends and get super inspired to try out some new photography techniques!
One of the many perks of being on my Creative Team (formally called Senior Models) is you often get published in National Magazines and on photography websites! I love the fact that my creative photo sessions are used in this way.
