Last week I had my second official outdoor session of season with Megan, one of my 2019 senior models from FCHS.
I’ve been busy taking senior yearbook photos for FCHS, LCHS and a few of the other schools. If you haven’t taken yours yet, no worries. I’m still scheduling them but the school deadlines are fast approaching! As much as I love shooting in the studio, outdoor sessions are my favorites!
With all the rain we’ve been having recently, it was no big surprise that it was horribly humid during Megan’s session. What I didn’t plan on was all the mosquitoes! They were EVERYWHERE and were driving us crazy! You’d never know it from these photos though. When Megan applied to be one of my senior models, she told me that she people often called her “smiley” and I can why! Crazy humid, getting eating alive by mosquitoes and she laughed and smiled through the whole thing!!
Yep, I’d say the nickname definitely fits Megan’s bubbly personality! Side note, I usually bring bug spray with me but had had run out the day before. We stopped at a gas station to buy some but they were out too. Luckily a good Samaritan overheard our dilemma and let us borrow some of hers. One of the things I love about living in a small town!
We moved onto the downtown Palmyra area and were lucky enough to find some beautiful flowers blooming alongside of a fence. Gorgeous girl, excellent location, it doesn’t get much better than this!
As the sun started setting, the humidity became unbearable so we decided to take a few more photos and then save the rest of Megan’s session for November. Yay for cooler weather and fall outfits! Thanks for being such a good sport during your session Megan! I always have so much fun with you and love that you’re one of my 2019 senior models!
